Bathtime Buddies

A canary and a sparrow enjoy a bath on a winter's morning in the woodlands of Zululand, South Africa. I captured this photo from a specialised photographic hide on Zimanga Private Game Reserve, South Africa.

These hides were designed by Bence Mate, 2010 BBC WPY winner, and a few more hides are in progress on the reserve (among which a large mammal hide and a eye-level lagoon hide).

OK Morkel,
This don't look like 'Big Game' to me but a very sweet image nun the less.
The action, detail, BG and colors are all outstanding. The low POV and water (droplets and reflection) are what makes this image special IMO.

Nice low POV and the great color scheme which makes for a real keeper. The frozen water adds allot to the image. Well done.
