Looking up at grape hyacinths and mixed tulips. The bg is the sky, and you can see bits of tree tops which I left in the lower corners. The hyacinths are only about 5-6" tall. I'll provide the tech data but not the way this was shot in the event anyone wants to guess. It's not what you might think. Nikon d600, 24-70, f22, 1/200, cpl. Thanks for looking; comments, suggestions, and questions welcome. :wavey:

Love this.Excellent comp. I've never tried a shot like this. I guessI'm too lazy or too old to attempt to get down low enough. :toast:

WOW, this is killer Scott!..I would get rid of the trees though. Just my humble opinion, but I love this.

Scott - Trees are not obvious, so they being there or not does not hurt/aid the photo much in my opinion. The view is enough to tell it was low angle with sky as the background. I'd reckon these were growing in a rectangular container perhaps and you did not have to go down too much  . Another possibility is that this was shot into the water.

Whatever it is, this is my 2nd favourite in your Tulip Series. 1st posting still remains my favourite with this really close behind. :toast:

"I'd reckon these were growing in a rectangular container." Bingo, Ram. :toast: Container grown in the local public garden. The container was on a wall about 3 feet off the ground. Shot hh sitting on a walkway with the 24-70 at 60mm. Got a few stares but stayed clean and dry.

Lovely. I like this best of your tulip series thus far. I had guessed raised container or box. :toast:

Lovely, crisp image, Scott, with the white bg seeming just right here for setting off the flower colours. The perspective you've taken makes for a lovely composition.

Excellent! What a stunning image. Whoever did the planting knew what they were doing. Beautifully captured. Well done Scott.
