satan's Fire

by Howard Cheek

I played with fire shots 5 or 6 years ago, thought I saw the face of satan peaking out of the fire here..
So a little nip and tuck, but as shot for the most part(soft).
Don't do many abstracts, so what you see is what you get:eek:
And if ya can't see him, just hope he's not there:wink:

All I need now is a Zeppelin album to play backwards. If you look closer you can see that its not the devil but rather a skull wreathed in flame.

Yup, I see those eyes staring out and the two horns. Shiner Bock Beer at your side in case of a flame out??

No that's hot  As dry as it is here, I wouldn't want to be anywhere near that. I can see the eyes and it' easy to imagine any number things. I'm going to leave the devil out of it at this point but really cool (not) abstract. :toast:

Wow, Howard. Remarkable facial features. Not just the eyes, but a nose and mouth.

Since flames are always moving, I expect some softness in a fire shot like this, Howard. You've done a great job of filling the frame with fire and I know from experience how hard that can be. I do see the eyes looking out to the right and a nose, plus horns.

Yikes, I see'm........I think the key to this shot is the realistic color and form of the flame. Excellent rendition here, Howard. :toast:
