King of the Lamar

Though some of the larger fauna might disagree.
I was lucky enough to get a few nice opportunities with Ravens on our Yellowstone trip. I like the type of rock it's perched on. It's a pinkish color originally, but it's formed of a fairly loose volcanic conglomerate that seems to be ideal for lichen growth, so it's usually quite well covered.
7D, 300mm f4 +1.4TC, hand held, 1/1250, f9, iso 400, +1/3 stop exposure, aperture priority. Processed in LR5 & CS6. Cropped to 4x5 aspect ratio and a bit extra to take a touch off the top-final size 13.8MP of the original 18.
