This started out as 3 photos combined in Photoshop, then blended with the "Difference" blending mode.

Thanks in advance for any comments or critiques. I was wondering about cropping a bit off the left side and would be interested in feedback.

Neat combo, Kathy, very colorful but at least the cacti are recognizable. I wouldn't crop from the left because that would start to cut into that group of spines that are the main subject on the left side. What I'd suggest is to burn in the brighter spines in the ulc and possibly dodge the darkest purples/blues along that left edge.

Agree with the others about croping. i find this a very colorful and creative image.
