For those of us old enough to remember TV test patterns. This is a water reflection with the dark objects being tree trunks and the color resulting from tree foliage. The zig-zag is in the original and is from water motion. No filters or other effects. Nikon d700, 80-400 @167, 1/40, f6.3, iso 200. Comments, questions, and suggestions welcome. :wavey:

R U kidding? What's a test pattern?
Very unique abstract for it's unusual zig-zag patterns Scott.
You say no filters? Nature has the market cornered on filters don't you think.
We just have to be there to witness it..
And that's why God created the shutter-bug

I've heard of these on the old goldfish bowl TV sets from years back......before my time....

Very cool, Scott. I've never seen such a natural thing look so, well, not so natural. Quite an event to have witnessed in person I'm sure. Excellent post here.

The bands of dark really set this off, Scott. Yeah, I remember test patterns or more often in our house the tv not working well, . You've got great sharpness in the colored wiggles.
