Good job of keeping the highlights from blowing out here. You also caught the texture well. I too have a Chamonix, and it's one of my favorite cameras.

An interesting look at this random pattern of wood siding, nuts, bolts, washers, and of course the large knot. The soft scrambled pattern of light adds nicely to the overall randomness here too, Preston. Very nice.

Preston, I find this image a bit confusing with the different textures and light. I do think if this was cropped below the line of nuts/washers the result would be interesting. Thanks for sharing.

For me, the success of this type of image depends on balance throughout the frame and this balances wonderfully. The large view really shows off the texture.
