Northern Vermont has this fascinating rugged landscape carved by glaciers, which I tried to highlight here with the slanting morning sunlight.

Nice composition Mark and I like the mood of this a lot. The fg looks a little dark on my MacBook but that may very well just be the MacBook. Love the birch trees and the light you wanted to emphasize on the hills. No suggestions.

Pretty cool , Mark. I like the comp just fine, but what I particularly like is the background with the raking light. Wish there could have been a way to show it off in more than a supporting role. Having said that, I think it works quite well as presented.

I like the background and wish it was more prominent.
A nice scene, I also might punch it up a tad......

I like the soft light in this, Mark. I do think the contrast in the mid tones could be brought up just a bit. The saturation looks good to my eye. I agree that the raking light on the mountains is the star, here. I like the composition.

Thank you for the feedback. I went with a low contrast for this because I felt the shadow areas became too distracting in the foreground otherwise.

Mark, I'm enjoying your composition and think this made for a great view across this landscape. I like the colors in this very much and appreciate the soft quietness to the mood. The light on the background hills is very nice. I too could see a bit more mid tone contrast but so much you loose the feel this has.

Lovely understated image. I like the gentle tones. As an alternative comp, I might consider cropping out the light blue in the top sky, but looks nice as presented.

"2 or 3;" lost track?
Love the trunks of those white trees, and the depth of the vista. I too would like more contrast; it would be pretty easy to keep the effect from the foreground shadows (depending on what you are processing with).
