Ken,
This is a nice head turn and a great look at this very interesting bird. You managed all the colors well in this lighting and the complimentary BG has good separation from the subject. One minor nit is the droppings on the perch, if this were mine, I would clone them away. Congratulations on this sighting and coming away with some first rate images. Man !

A very nice head angle, Ken and I love the perch and bg. If this were mine, I think I'd try adding a bit of light to the eye-I htink you could get it to pop nicely with a bit of work.

What a bird! Reminds me of a clown of some sort. You got a nice pose from this wonderfully colorful bird and has a nice piece to stand on. You got a great focal detachment from the bird and the BG but what is needed is a bit more brightness differential between the two. More contrast and maybe actually toning down some of the hotter spots in the BG. Thanks for posting this.

Certainly a colorful bird. Excellent head turn and detail. Dennis' suggestion on the eyes works for me. My thought on the poop: if it represents documentation, let it stay; if it will hang on a wall, clone it out.

Thanks everybody for your comments and suggestions, I tried lightening the eye but looking again it really needs a little more

I like the color and the head turn in this one Ken. If it were mine, I would lighten the shadows on the entire bird and would clone out the poo.
