Flies in Opium Poppy

Something about the Opium Poppy that attracts the Hovers and Some Bees. They are the most co-operative in this flower. I touched many..they either would not fly away or just fly to a different position in the flower

Super, Ram. Reminds of one you posted a year or two ago with the 4 hoverflys on a rose. The poppy is beautifully rendered with the paper-like petals, and the 5 HFs captured on the single flower is very cool and unique. :toast:

Delightful macro image with this carousel of hover flies Ram!
Great POF bringing in the flowers center, flies, and outer petal parchment like textures.
Nicely done:toast: :toast:

Ram, this is a lovely "dance of the flies", with all of them nicely sharp as well as the poppy and it's center. The larger version is luscious. Must be something in the pollen that slows them down...

Wonderfully delicate rendering, with nice sharpness, Ram. The feel of a lively insect merry-go-round about this image !!
