Mourning Dove Portrait

Taken in the same session as the last image I posted. I brought up the shadows a bit here (and in the last one) using the shadows/highlight adjustments in PS. My intention was to just bring them up enough to reveal the detail nicely while retaining the interesting side lighting. You'll have to be the judges as to whether or not I succeeded.

1Div, 500mm f4 ISL + 2.0TC, Jobu Gimbal mounted to blind window, f9, 1/200, iso 640, -1/3 stop compensation, pattern metering, aperture priority. Processed in LR5 & CS6. Cropped to 11.5MP from the 16MP original (mostly from going to the 4x5 aspect ratio). Taken in the back yard at 6:33 am on July 27th.

Your comments and criticisms are most welcome.
