This is an image from 2007 in an area off an unpaved exit of I-70. It's an interesting landscape, a bit drab but with occasional sweeping vistas and interesting topography, a place where I understand Butch Cassidy and gang had been fleeing from lawmen around 1889.

I like the various undulations and textures. This is worth exploring in terms of contrast and selective tweaks to saturation. Sure looks like lonesome country.

I think this is an appealing image. I agree that you could make it pop a bit more.

Wonderful! A classic example of the effect of texture on composition. Could perhaps be a little sharper.

WOW. This is superb Bill. The composition is wonderful; very eye catching. Also, the tones complement each other so well, and the detail is outstanding. Contrast is great too. One of your finest IMHO.

I like this "semi-abstract", there's a nice sweep to all of the ridges through the middle and in the distance. The hill in the llc makes a good visual anchor. Adding some "pop" would be interesting to explore, but I'd have to compare the two to be sure it was an improvement as the subtlety here works nicely.

Really like this! What an easy scene to overlook. You had some nice light. Looks soft and dispersed.

Really nice stark but compelling scene (I like stark scenes!). The image gives a excellent feel for the desert environment.

This image works almost like an abstract for me. There is a wonderful kind of flow in your composition to my eye.
