I was trying to compose the silver colored thorns as an abstract. This little BF came to the frame and occupied. This was like each thorn showing different directions and this BF got confused which direction to go.

Tv (Shutter Speed) 1/320
Av (Aperture Value) 5.0
ISO Speed 400
Focal Length 113.0mm

One of the things I have always been thankful about nature photography is when some delightful serendipity like this comes along and I can seize the moment. A really lovely b'fly!

You couldn't have planned this visit any better. The butterfly makes the image, and I like the thorny perch. :toast:

I can see what you were aiming for with the abstract idea, Swathiraj, but this is even better perhaps - the butterfly perched seemingly so precariously makes a fine subject.

“This was like each thorn showing different directions and this BF got confused which direction to go.” I like your imagination, Swathiraj. I also like that the colors in the thorns match the colors in the butterfly.
