A bit of mystery

My wife and I took a trip to the Columbia River Gorge in early June to celebrate our 35th anniversary and to spend time photographing the stunning gorge. My first trip there. Certainly hope it won't be the last!

This is a shot from Bridal Veil where I was more enamored with the stream than the falls. A bit of mystery with the falls in the background. Interested to hear your thoughts on this.

Nice comp for my tastes Keith and I like the rocks a lot. The falls around the bend does enhance the mood of the image. No suggestions. I like it a lot as posted.

Beautiful, very nice composition and I love all this green and the falls in the background that looks not to affect this calm area. Well done.

Nice light and color. I like the "I wonder what's around the corner?" mystery. I also like the subtle reflection and the detail visible in the stream bottom.

A nice different take on Bridal Veil.
This is tougher to get than it looks, you were in the exact right spot.....
I might like just a tad more on the top?

I like this, Keith. There are so many shades of green in the land and the water. The "hint" of falls tells the story about what's happening but in this case lets the lovely greens and the quiet water be dominant.
