A fascinating composition, Mike, full of incident. I rather like the boldness of setting the flower so large in the frame, and the droplets have come out nice and sharp. Not quite sure about the flash - the yellowish tones don't altogether appeal, but that is personal preference. But I do like the brown/purple/green combinations of the leaves and ground. Very striking !!

Mike: Because of their size trumpet flowers can be tough to capture. I think you've done great job. The supporting cast especially adds interest and frames the main subject nicely. Good image.>=))>

I sure like all the elements you've brought into this Mike. What is the BG?

I like just about everything I see in this image, Mike—the white trumpet (and your handling of the whites), the water drops, the mottled leaves and the BG. The flash is a bit much.

Mike- Nicely done. I like the nice sidewards DOF that covers the entire flower. Water Drops add a lot more interest.

Mike:

I like the composition, the mixture of leaves and color in the bg. The yellow tone of the flash is a little 'unnatural' though.

Mike, this is a delightful look at this flower and you show off its surrounding very well also. Excellent work.

I like the color cast. It adds a bit of mystery to this shot. There are many interesting elements held together by the flower's strong presence, that will keep the viewer coming back :toast:

Wow really sparkles.  Love how the light is subtle and effective.  And the leaves complement the blossom so well.
