Center of the moon.

This bloom was in the process of closing when I decided to try for some closer images. The morning rain had left the moon flowers with a lot of water drops.

A pretty blossom! It feels a tad over-sharpened. The flecks of light are slightly distracting.

John - Nice capture. Like the light coming through the petals highlighting the water drops :toast:

John:

Very pretty composition and the light through the petal shows up the center of the flower nicely. Not sure about the petal going to the top edge. Also, the top half of the flower is in sharper focus than the bottom half and could perhaps be improved by lining up the plane of sensor with the flower.
