Man, that is one bedazzled eye. The eye itself is multicolored and the area sourrounding the eye looks like glitter. I do think the image is a bit dark. A little bit of lightening would make this even better.

Fine catch, Allen. The details in and around the eye are great and you've got the head and bill sharp as well. I agree with Jerry that this seems a bit dark.

Thanks for your comments. Carol, I'm not sure what the white around the eyes is, but it looks like little tufts of feathers. I've lightened up the photo and enlarged it to give greater weight to the eye, but I'm not sure how it will look in the small version.

Allen, the repost really shows off the eye nicely. The extra brightness is a fine improvement.
