I have not been around for a bit, but I can see some excellent stuff is still being posted here.
This was taken this past June in Sugar Hill in the White Mountains of NH. My brother Mike and I like to time our visit for the lupine bloom. For some reason the lupines were particularly sparse this year and it was tough finding some comps. One photographer even told me this was the worst year she had ever seen.
I was able to find one clump of lupine that was fairly nice to use as a FG element for this scene. I was hoping the sunset would light up the clouds a bit more, but it did cast a beautiful warm glow on the BG mountain.
As always, thanks for taking a look and leaving a comment or suggestion.

10 commentsBeautiful fg colors and rich textures. It looks like there might be more detail in the clouds and possibly the mountain. If possible I'd try to bring it out. Other than that, I like this a lot.
I don't think I've seen one of your images in a few years. It's really good to see you posting. Hope you've been well.

The sky is not great, the Lupine is lovely.
Just a suggestion....
