Pronghorn Pair

Hi everybody! This my first post in Wildlife. This was taken on a recent trip to Yellowstone NP. This pair of pronghorns were just relaxing on a nice day. The light wasn't ideal but it's all I had. I usually shoot avian but I collected some nice wildlife shots from that trip. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks, any comments are greatly appreciated!

Hi! This is a great shot of one of my favorite subjects. They are tough to expose right, too and you did a good job with that. I also like the composition.

It does look like maybe the antelope and the greens behind them are a little too saturated, or it may be my Dads laptop. If not, I would maybe desaturate the bright greens behind the pronghorn because it's taking my attention away from the main subjects.

Great capture and eye contact!

I like the almost ground level perspective and that you have a decent look at both subjects' eyes. If this were mine I would dial back on the very strong saturation a little. You did a good job of exposing without losing the troublesome pronghorn white highlights.

Thanks Ashleigh & Lon, I reduced the saturation and it definitely improved the image.

Steve,

My favourite "never seen" antelope, I agree that toning down the saturation would help
