Another from our trip to ME and NH this June. While we were waiting on the sunset I was walking around and noticed the beautiful warm light illuminating this field. I had passed it by earlier because of the lack of lupines, but it looked a whole lot more interesting now.

As it turned out this was among my handful of favorites from the trip as it was not planned, but in the moment.

As always thanks for taking a look and leaving a comment or suggestion.

I like the sun burst and the beautiful warm light. The large version feels as if I can walk into the scene and feel the sun on my body and its warmth, well done :toast:

Beautiful work, Ed. Love the serendipitous nature of photography. Sometimes you just have to take what is given and often it's better than what you planned. You did a great job in taking advantage of some wonderful conditions. Really, really nice. :toast:

Very nice Ed, you exposed the scene beautifully, light, comp and color couldn't be any better. Pretty scene for sure.

Very peaceful. I love the light. I like how it feels that one is just walking a long, enjoying the evening.
