Interesting....in that in so many of the bird images this week, the birds look mad, but in this one the puffin looks sad. This image has great detail, is well balanced, and includes some outstanding colors, Chuck. The head, in particular, seems dark to me, probably because of the bright white in the lower right. I'd try some burning in of that corner and some dodging in the face and head. How neat to get to see these birds up close, from a blind.

Puffins are one of my favorites to look at Chuck - and you've done a great job with the detail on this portrait. As per some of the other comments, I might wish for it to be a bit brighter, but that's minor. Loving it - thanks for sharing
