You've got a fine long view of the waves coming in and the burst of light between the ridges works well to pull interest into the distance and create fine sense of depth.

I like the DOF and the sense of distance.
Although it is trite, I would like a bit slower SS on the water....?

I like how you've emphasized the geometrical shapes here with strong backlighting. Very nice!

Really beautiful mood in this scene, Ronald. I like your use of diagonal lines with the water and that warm light streaming in between the mountains is exquisite. Nicely done.

Very well done. I really enjoy the texture on the water, and how it reflects the light in a dappled way. The great thing about using the fast shutter speed is that it gives the feeling that I'm viewing the scene in person. I also appreciate the fact that you kept the dark tones nice and dark on the mountain on the right. When photographers try to show shadow detail where there really shouldn't be shadow detail, it kills the contrast and makes the image feel flat. In this photo, you maintain the contrast, and give the feeling of standing there and viewing it in person.

Beautiful light and lines. The haze works too. This turned out really well!

Very nice mood and lovely lines in this, Ronald, I think the shutter speed was perfect for this. I agree with Ben in that you didn't try to pull detail out of the mountain. This works for me.
