These long tailed parrots inhabit semi arid woodlands of south-east and south-west Australia. This male was one of several feeding on bluebush.

A beautiful bird and photo, Rob. Nice comp and color palette. The dense detail in the bush against the blurred background really sets off the bird.

Nice detail in the face and an excellent pose and perch, Rob. My only nit is that detail seems a bit lacking in the brighter yellow areas (always difficult).
