Kung Fu Prairie Dogs

Gallery: Weekly ChallengePosted August 25, 20142,307 views17 comments

I made this image a few years ago, so I feel sort of guilty using it now...but it seemed to fit with the challenge for the week. I hope both animals don't need to have all feet off the ground.

One leaping critter is just fine, Kurt. This is a great action shot, even the thumb had me chuckling. Neat that you've got all of the ground and both "dogs" sharp against a clean oof background. I can even see dirt flying off the jumper's feet in the larger version.

Hey Kurt,
This is a great image in all respects and the cute factor is off the charts. The larger version is a must see.
Well done . . .

Kurt--No need to feel guilty. I like the action and I'm betting on the 'dog on the left to win this skirmish. The BG is suited for the scene and helps frame the airborne attacker

Great shot Kurt, and very appropriate post for the WC. Put them in a karategi with a belt and you'd have a Disney animation.

Wonderful shot Kurt! I like the action and the POV - you've positioned yourself well, to maximize the BG and really make these guys stars.... Plus they both seem so fierce

Not sure how I missed commenting on this one. Really amazing capture here. The fact that the left dog is completely off the ground takes this to another level. The title is spot on. Well done.
