I was trying to compose this beautiful grass flower and the bee along with the small traces of pollens floating in the air.

I like the unusual perch for the bee, the colors, the nice bg, and the comp, Swathiraj. I also like the pollen floating in the air except that, had you not explained it, I would not have known that's what the specs are. Well captured. :toast:

Interesting perch with colors that compliment, like this active pose Swathiraj.
Great details, light, and contrasting BG.. It sets off that flying pollen nicely.
Well done! :toast:

This is neat, with all of the colors in the grass and bee as well as the bee's pose. I see the pollen traces, but I'm not sure they're adding anything to this lovely image, since I doubt that I'd have though about them as pollen without your explanation.

Wow, beautiful image! Liked the way the bee is clinging on to the bristles. The dust/pollen flying off the body adds to the image!
Might bring the bee a bit lower in the frame.

Hi Swathiraj,

Wonderful capture of a what looks like Apis dorsata. She's loading up with grass pollen and the wing blur suggests that she is trying to hold on to the grass. Nice background and the flying pollen grains are a nice touch :toast: ...........................Jim

Swathiraj, I had to laugh reading the comments and your description. Great shot. Fantastic colour...but I would clone out that pollen as fast as that bee probably took off...LOL....I prefer a clean image...and this reminds me of dust on my sensor...my personal nemesis....but to each his own. :toast:

Swathiraj, Interesting perch and pose, nice composition and colors. I wish the bee was more parallel to the lens, so the eye could be sharper. But this is still a pretty shot.

Swathiraj,
Sweet image, love the colors and the vertical crop.
I too feel the pollen specs should be cloned out to improve the image.

I like the color and action. I'm still suffering from a number of bee stings I got on my last shoot!
