My Grandniece is a gymnast. She is 8 and in the third grade. She practices 3 and 4 hours a day and is becoming quite good. She has a totally winning smile and has won me completely.

The picture is obviously soft because of heavy NR. The gym was poorly lit, at least for photography, and flash was not allowed. So I turned on the auto ISO and let her rip. Every picture I took for the gymnastic meet was at ISO 6400! Amazing results in spite of the noise and consequent NR. I use NIK Define mostly for all NR, and am quite pleased with the results. I have also used Topaz DeNoise with good results.

Oh boy…indeed what a smile. Grand-dad is putty … That aside, what great eye contact and, again…that winning smile! Perfect!

Hi Phil,

Nice shot--she looks like the only gymnast who is not nervous. Looks sharp enough and you got a nice memory for your album :toast: ...................Jim

Nice portrait and such a pretty smile! You have to wonder what the other girls are thinking.
