Taking a little break from my BoP (new flowers are on the way though) to revisit some shots from this spring. Prickly Poppies are one of my favorite wildflowers and I was lucky enough to find a nice stand of them while visiting Washington on the Brazos park this April. Of course if you have ever shot these you know that any little breeze sets them to swaying mightily and on this day it was blowing quite a bit. Tried to get the right DOF to catch all the flower and the right plane of focus to get as much of the bud bunch sharp as possible. On top of that I wanted to keep some of the soft phlox in the BG. Glad there weren't too many other folks to witness all the dancing and prancing I was doing trying to get everything to come together perfectly. This was as close as I could get. All comments welcome. >=))>
