Following the advice of Keith and Jim, here is a re-processed image of the Ruby-throat that I submitted earlier with some color/noise issues. I went back and adjusted the color to remove the yellow tint, and I tried filtering out more of the background noise. I also adjusted (brightened) some of the darker regions on the hummer in an effort to bring out some more detail, and I cut back on the crop a little bit.


D7100 (hh), 1/2500 sec @ f/5.3. ISO 1250, 240mm

Nice job on the processing, Charles. Detail on the hummer is excellent in the larger version and you tamed the bg nicely.
