Some beautiful patterns and colour on this Scotish river in Glencoe. The trick is finding the right pattern..

I like the comp and the color in the rocks Peter. Also the treatment of the water. Lots of energy but still a somewhat soothing mood. Beautiful image. No suggestions.

Beautiful Peter! Liked the flow of water (past hurdles of rocks). Just find the yellow patch on the rock in LLC a bit bothersome.

I think I agree with you, Peter. It takes a very nuanced eye to make sense of a fast flowing stream. I think your chosen pattern is just right.

Good eye to spot this, Peter. I like your use of diagonals here with the water flow and the rock placement.

Yes, I agree, Peter. You got a great capture here. I like the action in the water where it's spilling over and around the rocks making for some extra interest. The rock in the llc is a duzey-- nice placemant and a real eye-catcher to begin the exploration of the scene.

One thing that struck me that really adds to the feel of this is the arc of the stones from top right to lower left. You might consider dropping the saturation of the yellow on the large rock. I like how you portrayed the water: The shutter speed was perfect, and the color and tonality looks right on.

You're right, and you definitely found the right pattern. I see a lot of these shots and only a few really catch my attention. This one absolutely catches my attention. Excellent composition, shutter speed, and post processing.

Love the motion in the water and how it's sprinkled so nicely with colorful rocks. Very well seen and captured, Peter.

I can never resist water shots. This is a great pattern and a well balanced comp. Beautiful flow as well.
