Oh, sweet, this is good!! I love the deep iridescent red, the drops catching flecks of light. Just gorgeous! :toast: :toast:

Great job with the capture of the light on the petal, Ron. The ruby red color is terrific. The raindrops add interest, and the detail is excellent and I like the dof. You might want to clean up all the little black specs of pollen, etc., to make the final image more pristine, but others prefer a more realistic look, flaws and all. I tend to be in the pristine camp, but it can be tedious.

This is a fine look deep into this geranium. The raindrops are a fine addition. I like your comp. and how the lines in the petals converge to the upper right 1/3 point. I do think that processing the darker areas for a bit more detail would add some extra pop. I'm in the less than pristine camp, so I don't have a problem with the pollen specs, but that's definitely an artistic choice.

Excellent comp. Beautiful color and light! I agree with the others that lightening some of the dark areas to bring out more detail would make this even better.
