Go Ahead, Make My Day!

When I made this shot I was actually facing the opposite direction shooting another Eagle when I heard squawking behind me. When I turned around this is what I saw. It happened so quickly but I got about seven frames. Although I like the action, the IQ could be better. I'm curious to hear what others think. This full frame width, I cropped the top & bottom for composition.

Thanks for looking; any comments & suggestions are greatly appreciated!

That's a very nice capture, for me it's a very good composition with these two eagles. I can see the intense expressions and I think that they made your day but for sure they make an excellent picture. Bravo! I like it as is.

I'm sure we'd all like to have a shot like this. A dramatic scene, well captured.

Impressed that everything seems in focus with f6.3. Great shot.

Good poses and light on both birds. I like the action captured and the way your composition leads me to want to see what happens next. Great work. I rarely have much luck getting one bird sharp in a flight image with my 40D and both birds here look pretty good to me.

Most excellent!! Great capture for such a spur-of-the-moment, fast action shot. Hearty congrats for the shot and the Pick. IQ problem? I don't see it.
