Folks,

Am not a great fan of the clean BG, thought I would post this anyways. The BG is the glowing grass..

Balan - Plenty sharp considering that the RF is rubbing the legs (and perhaps body is moving a little bit). Background is great :cool: - even though you may not like it.

lovely BIS (bug on a stick) shot. :biggrin: Good BG with no distractions, which has both gradient and pleasing color and allows the subject to stand out well, is more than just clean. :smile:

What makes this smooth bg work for me, Balan, is the nice green color, which works particularly well with the fly's striking green eye. Excellent detail in the fly. :toast:

Great detail. I like the color gradient in the bg and how it matches the color in the eyes.

Wow, Balan, the sharpness and detail in the fly (especially the eye) are amazing. The pose makes it look like this fly is about to pounce on something with those front legs out. The clean background really shows off the fly and it's perch well.

fantastic shot, Balan! Macros of insects are eery and alien when done to this high quality, which makes the bug fun to study. Wow, that eye is magnificent, especially with the background. Congrats on a great Pick!
