The color is nice. It would be nice if it had more depth of field and the light is a bit harsh.

Sorry Justin, but this just does not work for me. The colors in the bloom are nice, but there is just too much chaos in the photo for me.

Very interesting flower so it's worth the effort. More depth of field; either shutting down the aperture or a simple focus stack of 2 or 3 images. And try to recover those blown highlights in processing. What are you using to process your photos? And are you shooting in Raw?
