This is one of my baby bluebirds with new, adult feathers. What a beauty. This was a small crop, so it may be a little soft. the unusual flutter "in place" pose, with the slight transparency of the wings, is sweet. :smile:

You captured a nice expression on the bluebird's face, Lucy. Like you said the image, especially the larger version, is a little soft. The perch and legs are sharper, which may indicate the focus is on the legs. The background also seems a bit bright, selectively toning it down will enhance the image.
