Found this cow elk and her calf along the Madison River in Yellowstone. The calf stayed mostly hidden in the tall grass.

Jerry,
The inclusion of the environment in this does not bother me too much, in the same way as the Cheetah post by Richard Sandor. Whilst it may be better without the "pesky grass" it would then just be an ordinary portrait :toast: :toast:
