Tony: A nice shot indeed! Welcome to NPN and to the finest Flora gallery on the planet. Excellent light and fine DOF control. My only compositional suggestion would be to crop this from the left to 5:4 ratio to get the bloom out of the center of the frame and to give it a bit more space relatively speaking on the right where it seems to be "looking". Great to have you aboard and looking forward to more. >=))>

The Poppy looks wonderful with the white outline on the red petals. I do not recall seeing one like this person, so it makes the photo more interesting for me
On the compositional choices I tend to favour what Bill mentioned in his reply.
