Just Checking

This fawn came over to check me out this morning on the preserve. I find fawns to be skittish at times but also very curious. This one isn't alarmed but I note that 2 legs look like they are primed to get it out of there is something scary is seen. This was early am so the sun hadn't made it into this opening so I increased the exposure some and added some warmth and saturation to the image. I also added contrast, vibrance, and clarity. All to add a bit more color to the eye. Full frame image. Let me know what you think. Comments and critiques are welcomed.

Tech Info

Canon EOS 60D with EF 70-200mm f/4 at 200mm

Peter, another good one with sharp detail and not too many distractions. I know you are shooting in lower light, but maybe you could adjust the levels up a little more post to take away some of the flatness. :toast:

I like the pose a lot here Peter, a little brighter for me and I would crop some from the left and top to move here out of the center a bit. :toast:

The cleaner background allows us to stay more focused on the deer. The only drawback is the dreary lack of light. However, you have a good pose and even reflectivity in the eye!
