What a grand setting for the big guy Gary, very cool
If I didn't know better, I'd say he almost looks pasted in.. in other words, Eli looks surreal, larger than life.
And as it should be
Well done!

Just beautiful! He does indeed look larger than life here, and appears perfectly in his element. The setting is truly stunning. Is Eli an Anatolian Shepherd?

Outstanding Gary,
The POV and angle of the sunlight you chose for this image could not be any better.
I can here the conversation after this image was taken: "Come-on Eli, do your business and let's go, its a long way back to the road."
Well done . . .

Rebecca and Catherine; Eli is indeed an Anatolian Shepherd. He's a very big boy, probably about 170 lbs when this photo was taken. You can walk alongside him with your hand resting on his back and you don't have to lean over to do it!

Eli looks like a real mountaineer. I like your use of the wide angle to focus on Eli while showing the surroundings nicely.

Goodness, Gary - this is a striking image! Not much I can add to the great and valid comments above but I'll certainly add my voice of appreciation for a beautiful dog in a stunning setting, as well as fantastic camera work to create this comp. Just excellent.
