Lily is my little angel, who showed up out in my pasture all alone and very scared. She is never very far from me. I used fractalius to illustrate her angelic character.

Neat 'Angelic' transformation, looks like Lily is looking up for guidance too
I especially like the eye, & that blue collar works very well Lucy

I remember this shot (or one very similar). Your use of fractalius works very well to make this "dreamy" and show off her pose. As Howard says, the eye and collar are special.

Good work. My only nit is I wish more of Lily could be seen.

Thank you! She is in a box, Phil, so her body is completely hidden. I'll post one of her alone later.
The collar was a wonderful surprise. It is a blue, sort of tie dyed coloration. But, the fractalius makes it look like shiny satin!

I love the photo and the effect, Lucy. The lack of a body is just a bit scary though.

Neat Lucy! I was actually thinking about doing a photo-art version on my drive home from work today. Ditto the others on the collar being brilliant. I might crop a bit more off the bottom since she's hidden in the box anyways (get rid of 1/2 the bright area - up to your signature). The form of the box is actually more evident in the large version and that helps too. Nice work

Hi Lucy,
I agree with Gary in that I thought Lily's head was floating in space! I would have defined the top edges of the box better before doing the fractalius transformation or the crop that Karen suggested would work too. I feel better that there's more of the cat in the box I like the bright colors and patterns on Lily's face...............................Jim
