D300S 150-500 mm at 500 mm f/8.0 1/1250 ISO 400
PS6 - no cloning, stamping, cutting or pasting.
Original Tiff file cropped from 34 to 5.0 M

White Storks at Avenches, Switzerland.
I had ample opportunity to photograph these magnificent long distance migrants but somehow my shots of single storks failed to impart the sense of in flight movement that I was seeking to impart. Patience was rewarded when I spotted these four rather distant stacked storks. This shot is a fairly massive crop so I’m not too bothered by technicalities
in detail, noise and chromatic aberration.

Your crits. and suggestions are most welcome.

Interesting position of the three birds... My first reaction would be that I would prefer to see the third bird's face as well, but then - looking a little longer - I think it kind of dynamic the way you present it here. I like it ! Cheers, Hans

Love the positioning David, almost like a time lapse image
