We had some tremendous cloud formations last Spring when the air patterns were particularly unstable. This is one of my favorite-- taken from my living room in Seattle.

GH-3, 100-300 f4-5.6 @ 188mm, handheld; f7.1, 1/1250, ISO 320.

Definitely threatening. I really like the bright center clouds and how they're surrounded by darker versions. The detailed structures are great as well. You've larger version looks to be the same size as this one.
