Beach Panorama

Please view the LARGE size for better detail.

Shot this a while back but never processed it for some reason. Pulled it out and processed it a few weeks ago and I like the way it turned out. A very peaceful spring afternoon on Pensacola Beach some 4 years ago. I hope you enjoy it. Just sized and sharpened it tonight so please let me know about the sharpening; my eyes are very tired right now and they won't focus on fine detail so I'm kinda guessing on the sharpening - I hope it's not over-sharpened.

One image cropped to pano format.

Critiques, comments, and suggestions welcomed and appreciated.

Bill, I sure like the high key sense from all of the white foreground sand and how the grass clumps are scattered throughout. Does not look over sharpened to my tired old eyes...

Well balanced composition and delicious atmosphere, seems to breathe the sea breeze. In my opinion it does not look over sharpened.

Bill, I really like the a bit pano layout of the scene. All details look spot on and no issue of sharpening quality to my early morning eyes. The white beach sand always comes out appearing to be more delicate then most brown sands we often see. The stuff always looks a bit more finer too, almost like baby powder.......good one here.....

Hi Bill,

The image looks perfectly sharpened to my eyes. You have composed this scene up beautifully, and I enjoy the pristine nature and texture of the sand. The hint of water in the background gives a nice sense of place.

Sweet image!!

The sharpening looks fine to me as does this wonderful comp, Bill. I love the mood here along with all the textures and details throughout the scene. Beautifully done.

Very nice comp and nice detail in the large version Bill. That white sand looks just great and must make for a tricky exposure. Well done.

I like the simple, uncluttered feel of this and how the composition "breathes".

Bill, I really like this image. Simple but effective composition. The whites are handled very well.

Sweet shot, Bill. Sharpening looks fine to me. I love how you left just a hint of the ocean visible to give some context and "sense" of place and still focus on the main elements of your comp. :toast:

The minimalism works nicely with the bare sand and sky. May have a slight CW tilt??
