Arctic circle night

I have been hiking through northern Norway and Sweden last August/September, and here is one photo from that trip. One of four nights during five weeks were a large amount of northern light showed up. The almost full moon nicely lit the landscape.

Abisko, Sweden, September 2014. 14 mm, 15 s, f/4, ISO 1600.

Great colors in the sky Roel. I like the balance with lots of colorful sky set against a bit of ground your tent.

Very cool shot, Roel. I like the way the light and the trees point down at your tent and vice-versa. A heavenly moment I'm sure.
