I've spent an inordinately long time in this area for a foreign tourist. I think I've seen these hoodoos in all manner of light and conditions . It's just such a nice place to spend an evening with a rare view of Lake Powell.

Just great, with loads of drama. Your composition is elegant, balanced and powerful. On my monitor at work the sky colors don't look entirely natural.

Nice the way the hoodoo fits into the cloud gap. Can't agree more on where to spend a sunset; I love the southwest for that. I do agree with Mark that the sky color has some areas that seem off, too magenta (and some of the blues?).

Thanks I will work on the colors when I get back to the UK. I've been out shooting for 6 months so I've got some catching up to do.

This is a nice scene with great light. Contrast seems little off or may be it is the sky.

I like how you've got a dark sky area behind that main formation. There are lots of interesting rocks in the foreground and a lovely sky (with color saturation issues already noted). It's an great view that can easily be made better.

It's like the most innocent and beautiful "atomic mushroom"

Great comp of a fascinating location. I agree with the other posters about the minor issues with saturation in the sky. I will add also that based on the background mesas and the striations on the primary hoodoo that there could be a clockwise rotation.
