It may be impossible to make a Rhea photogenic. So I tried for cute. The male Rheas raise the kids, sometimes as many as 60 at a time. This male had about 30 kids, but it wasn't possible to get them all at once. The white blobs in the background are termite mounds; further back are horses. Late afternoon light after sunset at Pousada Piuval, on the Pantanal, Brazil.
Full frame. Adjustment to Levels and Brightness. Selective sharpening.
C & C, please. Thanks for looking.
