Female Blackbird

Hi everyone! Although far from an exotic species, I thought I'd share this female blackbird that was kind enough to perch on a cattail near me while I was hunkered down in the grasses along one of the ponds near our home this autumn. I like the focus and sense of impending launch.

Looks good to me in all aspects. Maybe the head turned more towards the camera? Thanks for sharing.

John,
Great detail and beautiful colours, head angle is not perfect but I am not obsessed by such things

Really nice depiction of this species and gender. Great pose, lighting, and very sharp.

Hi John, that is one sweet pose you captured there. Lots of detail in the blackbird and flawless bg. I kinda like the profile shot. Looks like she's deep in thought...

Good to see a female captured and presented so nicely, John. I also like the intensity you captured. Techs are spot-on; a very good image.
