Along came a spider

Literally, I was trying to photograph a wooly bear on our porch rail when this tiny spider came walking by, climbed up on the squirrel statue on the rail and posed! Maybe not posed, but tolerated a few photos. No idea what species this tiny spider is. Never did get what I wanted with the wooly bear.

John, the spider is very nicely sharp and I really like the subtle greens in the statue and the background (more statue??). Is this a crop? The larger version looks pretty grainy and shows JPEG artifacts along the spider's legs.

Mark, this is a large crop, about 25% of the original. I am still learning the limits of this camera. At first glance I thought this spider was an ant! Then I realized it was a spider. I hope to see it again and can be more prepared. Thanks for your comments.
