Is it Halloween yet?

When I got in close to the abdomen I saw the facial pattern there..
So I took a small dried grass stalk and placed it directly behind the spider/web, in an effort to create a 'neck' of sorts.
Some minor web strand clone-out at the bottom corners.

I made this using the 1D M3>Kenko 1.4x>20mm ext.ring>Sigma 150mm f/2.8 setup. Tripod and cable shuttered. Clear,sunny, and calm using natural sunlight @ 11:59am.
F/14, 1/100th, ISO 800

Definitely fitting for Halloween, Howard, the stretched face is neat. I don't know if this is allowed (or maybe that's a loud) because it looks like some critter's back end.......maybe a bumble bee? Glad to see you going for max magnification.

Spider backside. The imagery is a little forced, but a nice closeup!

Common Garden Spider (Argiope aurantia), a dorsal view of the abdomen.
Thanx for lookin' everyone.
PS: And Phil, I'm glad I could get in your 'face' for Halloween..
So I'm guessing this would be more of a trick than a treat for you?
