Some incredibly changeable light in Durmitor National Park Montengero. My preference for black dark edges in full flow here..

Amazing how exciting a relatively simple photograph can be when you know how to work the light. This is a great example of principle that I remember from art educator Bill Alexander, who -- speaking of painting -- said "Without dark there is no light." Congratulations on such a moving image.

Dark and brooding with very nice light Peter. I only wish for a larger version to see more shadow details. Very nice.

Dark and very powerful, Peter. I really need to see this larger, I want to enjoy the detail that I'm sure this image contains. Extremely nice none the less.

the real beauty, methinks, lies in that golden light that caresses those hillsides. the bright thing (or dragon's breath or whatever it is) distracts my eye. would be good to see this larger.

Excellent exposure and light treatment.
Very dramatic.
The way the light kisses the earth is moving.
Very nice and balanced composition too.

I enjoy the power that exudes from this capture Peter. I feel the power of the mountains, and hw the mountains can create their own atmosphere at time, and oh yeah that amazing light!!!
