The extended weekly challenge has been ideal for me, being in Zion and having ample opportunities to post new photographs representing the theme. :smile:

This cross-bedded Navajo sandstone is so weathered and fragile, it can easily be broken with very little force.

Great monochrome showing off the texture and pattern in this rock. The nice lighting provides plenty of detail too.

I sure do like all the layers created by the erosion and the overall warmth. The lighting provides both nice detail and good delineation of the shapes. The details in the larger version are great.
